Further development of Legend of the Green Hydra has been stopped as of 2009, and the code and most graphics behind the game are being released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 United States License.

All game files for version 1.0 are available for download in a zip file here.

Anyone can freely copy the HTML and Javascript code, modify it, use it to make their own game, redistribute it on their website, etc. -- even for-profit.
All graphics aside from the "Legend of the Green Hydra" title graphic are also included in the BY-SA license and may be freely used and modified for any purpose.
Variations and redistributions of the code or graphics must give credit to Deathray Games by linking to http://deathraygames.com and/or http://deathraygames.com/play-online/drg/greenhydra/. Although not required, you may use the small Deathray logo for these links.
The Legend of the Green Hydra name itself, and associated graphics, are not included in the BY-SA Creative Commons license, but if you wish to make an official variation or sequel using the LOGH name, then just email us to tell us about your project, and we'd be more than happy to send you permission.
